Trident Security is currently seeking a qualified Grade C Security Guard to join its team in Highlands North, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a secure environment and responding promptly to security-related incidents.
🛡️ Key Responsibilities
- Surveillance & Monitoring:
Monitor CCTV systems, patrol assigned areas, and report any suspicious activity. - Access Control:
Verify identification, screen visitors, and prevent unauthorized entry. - Incident Response:
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances in line with security procedures. - Safety Enforcement:
Ensure compliance with security policies and identify potential safety hazards. - Report Writing:
Accurately record daily activities, incidents, and observations in security logs. - Customer Assistance:
Assist visitors, staff, and customers with directions and general inquiries. - Collaboration:
Work closely with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Valid PSIRA Grade C qualification
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Willingness to work on a 7-day shift roster with scheduled rest periods in line with labour laws
- Must reside in Alexandra or be willing to relocate (standby availability is required)
